Solo Meditation: I Am Here To Bring

Things You'll Need:

- Your presence

- Incense (optional)

- Kyanite - this peaceful crystal calms the mind and further enhances our meditative state by promoting relaxation and emotional release (optional)

Affirmation/Mantra: "I am here to bring more grace, love and peace into the world."

Time: Your practice comes to an end when your heart tells you so.

Ambiance: You have the option to create a beautiful ambiance, light your incense and play some soothing music (I usually look on Spotify for a meditation playlist).

Practice: Sit in easy pose if that is comfortable for you or sit in a chair with your feet planted on the ground.

Get comfortable, place your crystal in your receiving hand and take a few moments to center yourself.

Take 2-3 long, deep breathes.

In through your nose, 1-2-3-4

Out through your nose, 1-2-3-4

Breathe into your body, acknowledge any tightness, uncomfortableness or discomfort.

Let your ((breathe)) flow through those areas.

Repeat to yourself, "I am here to bring more grace, love and peace into the world."

Begin to visualize yourself as an outsider looking into your world. You see yourself, your surroundings, your environment.

Go to where your mind takes you.

Our beautiful, chaotic mess of a world is in motion.

What do you see? What is happening in your world? Are your friends fighting? Or are they laughing? Are you alone? Is there a homeless man in your world? Is there a family nearby picnicking? Are you near a beach full of laughter? Or are you at work with frustrated co-workers?

Get real. Get specific. Don't be shy!

What is going on in your world?

Just take a moment to observe. Observe E V E R Y T H I N G.

You are here to bring more grace, love and peace into the world.

Who in your world needs more of these virtues? Who needs more of your service?

Shower those special souls with what they need.

Visualize a heartwarming, loving beam of light surrounding your friends that are fighting - giving them compassion.

Visualize a flock of blissful hearts fluttering around the homeless - showering them with hope.

Visualize a beautiful dove gracing the presence of your frustrated co-workers - pampering them with peace.

Continue with these visualization until your world is filled with grace, love and peace.

Repeat one last time, "I am here to bring more grace, love and peace into the world."

What I love about this meditation is that I'm able to use it in everyday life. If I ever pass a crying baby, I visualize a white beam soothing her tears. When I see an upset neighbor, I visualize hearts surrounding that person - the list goes on!
